I highly recommend this book for adults and children alike. I had no idea Julie became a singing sensation when she was so young (which somehow makes her role in Sound of Music feel even more fitting), and it was wonderful to have the opportunity to learn more about someone who has meant so much to me and to so many other people. This book was beautifully written and handled what must have been a difficult early childhood for Julie with sensitivity at a very kid-appropriate level.
